Jonathan Rivera didn’t exactly plan to wind up in the dental lab industry, but when his mother, Kelly Rivera needed to add someone to the roster that knew how to build a culture-first powerhouse, there was no doubt who that needed to be. Whether it was growing a dental SAAS by 500% in less than seven months, or launching a first-to-market solution for calibrating vehicle safety systems, his experience in numerous roles made him the perfect fit for the Cadmus Dental Lab founding partner team.

Originally brought on as Chief Experience Officer, Jonathan was tasked with constructing the one thing that makes a great company a fantastic place to work…culture.

“If my people aren’t happy, the customer isn’t happy. And if the customer isn’t happy, then my team’s livelihood is at stake. And if their livelihood is at stake…guess where my livelihood ends up…”.

Shortly after laying the foundation for the Cadmus experience, making phrases like “Find the Why” and “toast to the weekend” fundamental staples of the Cadmus family, he was promoted to Chief Operating Officer to sort out the nuts-and-bolts that would ensure Cadmus’ staying-power in the everchanging dental lab industry.

“Making teeth is a little different from oil changes and tire rotations…but the path to success remains the same. Support your people and they’ll support the company by supporting the customers”.

Jonathan has called the Tampa-area home for almost 25 years, but this car-guy, travel-buff’s ultimate goal is to call Scotland (or Ireland, or Germany, or Austria, or Italy, or Switzerland….the location changes frequently) his new home with his wife Heather, their two dogs Loki and Venture, and their cat Khaleesi.
